"Best investment we've made with child #2! I already bought the hip seat during my pregnancy and I certainly do not regret it. I needed a tool like that with my first daughter, and now that No. 2 is 6 months, I use it daily. It is simply worth its weight in gold! On the one hand, I can be more present with the eldest and move around effortlessly with her on my arm, and on the other hand, the youngest gets a lot of security, closeness and, not least, more freedom than the carrier/swaddle can offer. She sits forwards, backwards, stands up, and I also use it as a support for breastfeeding (she has her bottom lying on the seat). Then I can effortlessly walk around and breastfeed for various activities with the big one - SO smart! At the same time, there is really a lot of space in the pockets. A whole pack of wet wipes and more in the biggest pocket! It's just nice to have close at hand. My mother, who has a bad shoulder, also happily uses it, as she otherwise finds it difficult to hold the youngest for a long time.
I have a slim build and a very small waist, and it fits me really well. The first few times I put it a little too far down - it just needed to go up a little higher than I first thought, so it supports perfectly! Got some instructional videos that show it really well.
