The idea for the first "lifesaver" product, the ultimate mom/dad carrying solution — the BY MINELLA hip seat — came about when I was carrying my eldest son around all the time. My arms, back, shoulders, and hips hurt so much that I sought help from various professionals.

I desperately needed a carrying solution that could support us both during the waking hours, when I typically carried him on my hip or in my arms. A solution that was easy to take on and off, practical to use, and that could relieve me while giving my son the ultimate comfort and closeness. That's why I designed the BY MINELLA hip seat.
